xITee is operating in the Czech Republic as a provider of IT consulting and development services mainly for Western Europe financial institutions.
Oriented on the market needs for IT outsourcing and near-shore development, it combines the significant advantages of a Middle European development center with on-site presence in Europe's financial centers.
From the very beginning, the company strives to provide highest value to its clients based on long-term experiences from projects delivered to international customers.
History
Where |we come from...
xITee was founded at the end of the year 2004 as a joint venture of two German companies with a long term focus on the financial industry. The main motivation of the joint venture was to combine experiences from business consulting and system/software - engineering into a new competitive entity.
Founders:
Kucera IPC GmbH, a software engineering company, provides services in consulting, application development, and processing within the Information Technology (IT) sector. Kucera IPC is a strategic partner of the Deutsche Börse AG, which operates the world's second biggest exchange (Xetra®) and the world's biggest derivatives exchange (Eurex®).x-markets GmbH is a consulting company in the financial service industry and is specialized in transaction banking, clearing and exchange business.
x-markets GmbH has a proven record in implementing challenging projects in time and budget for blue chip clients.

Who |is managing it...
Dipl. Inform. Tomas Kucera
Executive Director
During his university studies of information technology and long professional experience in this field, Tomas Kucera became an expert in software engineering, system analysis, database systems design and technology. He founded the company Kucera IPC GmbH in 1999 in Frankfurt/Main, Germany and established a successful relationship with the Deutsche Börse AG. In 2005 he co-founded with x-markets GmbH the company xITee s.r.o. in Prague.
Boris Wedel
Executive Director
After his studies of business administration, Boris Wedel worked several years for Accenture and Group Deutsche Boerse gaining long-term professional experience in project- and testmanagement of large IT- and migration projects such as introduction of Eurex (merge of DTB and Soffex) or Xetra. In 2000 he founded the consulting company x-markets GmbH in Wiesbaden, Germany which is specialised on supporting implementation- and operation-projects within the financial industry.

xITee focuses mainly on finance industry related IT system solutions dealing with subjects like electronic exchanges, clearing systems, risk management and market surveillance.
Our employees have worked on different projects and successfully applied a wide area of technologies (different hardware platforms, operating systems, programming languages, CASE & documentation tools) with a proven track record.
The company maintains an extensive know-how basis in many functional and technical areas. We emphasize the spreading of knowledge among our team members. The know-how is actively acquired considering also feedback from employees and feedback from our customers. xITee permanently invests in staff training and supports educational initiatives of it´s employees.
